Teen resilience COaching Package

Do you want your teenager to develop the skills to bounce back from life's challenges and thrive in their lives?

1:1 Coaching for teenagers & young adults

Your teenager may have you, a caring family, friends, and what looks like a relatively stable environment.

But if they don't develop a resilient sense of self during this crucial identity forming period, they will really struggle with the inevitable challenges of adolescence and young adulthood.

With time, this fragile sense of self will put them at risk of developing mental health issues like depression, anxiety and much more.

It also will put them at risk of repeatedly finding themselves in unhealthy relationships, of living a life that doesn't fulfill them, a life drains and overwhelms them.

Now is the time to lay a strong and nurturing foundation that will serve them for the rest of their lives. (Stephanie - I added this randomly to give a sense of urgency. Does it work or it doesn't follow the template?)

A study by the National Alliance on Mental Illness found that 50% of all lifetime cases of mental illness begin by age 14, and 75% begin by age 24.

Adolescence is a pivotal stage of development that profoundly influences your teenager's future emotional well-being.

As a crucial period for identity formation, this is the stage when your child starts to develop their sense of self and their perception of others and the world.

The lens through which they begin to perceive themsleves and engage with the world impacts all aspects of your child's life: Their well-being, their happiness, the quality of their relationships, their ability to make decisions that are good for them, the professional path they craft for themsleves, among other factors.decision-making, among other factors.

And the thing is - It's really easy for an adolescent to develop a negative and fragile sense of self.

Why?

Because of the significant changes happening in the brain during this time. To simplify things, the brain of an adolescent is a highly emotional brain state, in which the more rational part of our brains, the one that is able to manage our feelings in a healthy way is still under-developed.

The state of the adolescent brain means that:

Adolescents feel self-conscious, are extremely sensitive to appearances, compare themselved to their peers, are sensitive to different systems of beliefs, take more risks, act impulsively, and often feel irritable, moody, overwhelmed and stressed.

Given how challenging this period is, many adolescents end up forming negative belief systems about themsleves, others and the world.

Hence, the special importance of providing teenagers with the space to develop an authentic and resilient sense of who they are. The space to cultivate the wiser part of themselves so that they are able to navigate their current and future challenges feeling confident and fulfilled.

Building resilience now is crucial to their long-term well-being.

Here are some signs that show your adolescent is struggling because of a fragile sense of self:

  • They have trouble connecting in a healthy way with you, your partner, their friends, or forming close relationships with others

  • They easily get stressed and overwhelmed by everyday challenges

  • They struggle at school or at work, and they feel like they aren't 'good enough'

  • They aren't very confident in themselves, struggle with low self-esteem or are highly judgemental towards themselves

  • They  have an unhealthy relationship with their body image and are very sensitive to appearances.

  • They often feel unfulfilled or unmotivated

If your teenager is exhibiting one of those symptoms of a fragile sense of self, I am here to help.

That's exactly why I created the Teenager Resilience Coaching Package.

 (Stephanie:

1) is that the right time to mention the program ?

2) What kind of testimonial can I put here?

3) Should I talk about money-back guaranree? )

4) Do I have to say how long are the sessions in the package description below?

5) Do you think the private community below will be taken more as a disadvantage for parents rather than parents?)
